CHANGING YOUR MIND

I've changed my mind about many things through out my life, probably just like you. I will continue making upgrades guaranteed. I certainly hope that this book has gotten you to think and question a few things. I've been thinking about that large roullette bet and how life changing it could be. My savings are adding up and I can make that $11 000 bet in the near future. With the same amount of money, it's possible to start a small business and it would be more fun. Have a couple of ideas floating around which I think will work. Kevin O'Leary started an educational company that targeted children and he made a fortune. Just finished Donald Trump's book and one of the things he said was THINK BIG! Instead of collecting a few rents every month and living a humble existance, I could LIVE BIG! Doing what you love and making money is key.

Making children's educational products fun to do. In 2009 I made a kids CD and book. Never got around to promoting it much because I'm too lazy. You can check it out on www.happyhappykids.com

Writing rock songs back in the day was fun. Problem was that I sent my lyrics and melodies back to Canada and the States to get recorded and I wasn't present in the studio. Almost always the songs would come back and they wouldn't sound they way I had intended them to sound. Out of the 80 or so songs that I recorded, I was present in the studio twice. The song Make-Up Onna turned out almost exactly the way it was intended to be and is no doubt one of my favorite songs. A few times I sent a recorded tape of me singing to 2 different studios. Identical tapes and when they completed the tune, both versions of the some were completely different. Unrecognizable except for the lyrics. Youtube the song Neg The Target ( My channel is Kansaimagic ) and you will see and hear for yourself. The song Chump to Champ was sent to 3 different studios, all were given the exact same cassette tape of my horrible voice singing the song, and all 3 sound completely different. Would like to get back into music, but have to find local talent and be at all recordings to get it right. $11 000 can do a nice promotion if the song is super catchy.

There was 1 teaching job that I enjoyed. It wasn't today's job because all morning the 60 or so kids were running around trying to punch me in the nuts and kancho me. You don't want to be on the recieving end of a kancho ( look it up ) because it will ruin your whole week. The kid thinks it's super funny, but I feel like punching the little bastard in the goddam face. Not a nice thing to feel because it's part of Japanese culture to chikan ( adult men do the groping to women on the train ) and kancho and the kids don't know any better. Every school where there are kids it's GUARANTEED to happen, but it's hard not to get extremely angry when getting goosed. There was a teaching job I had where I had to teach 30 or so adults. It was from 1:30 till 2:45. I use to be terrified of public speaking, but now I really enjoy it. I still get nervous when I have to do it, but once I'm out there I get into the zone. The organizer said that the students ( Youngest late 30s and oldest in his 80's ) were all beginners, but in fact there were sundry levels. I would never be bored during classes as I am during kid's classes watching them color etc. My heart would be pumping and I would make jokes. At first I thought it would be a 1 time substitute job and they would pay me 5000 yen cash on the day. Instead they wanted me to continue. The first day I worked it was July 1st and I remember that clearly because I talked about Canada Day during the lesson. Instead of cash on the day, they said they would pay me on the 25th of the next month. It's common in Japan to be paid 1 month later. I would have to wait 55 days before I saw any money. I got drunk a day or 2 before payday and mailed my employer to bring my money to class and that I wanted 10 000 yen per lesson if she wanted me to continue. I said I would give her a week to find another teacher. There were 30 students in the class so I knew she was making good money and it takes a competent teacher that speaks decent Japanese and has lots of teaching experience to keep the students entertained. I got fired not long after which is bad because that job perfectly fit my shedule. I would show up exactly 10 mins before my 4pm work started. It's also good because I would later find out that each student was paying 1800 yen ( $18 ) to be there. Multiply that by 30 students and you have over 50 000 yen ( $ 500 ) for just over an hour's work. I am seriously thinking to promote my own school. I managed to get an advertisement that my old employer used to get students. I'll make some minor changes to it and viola... in business.
